Latino Unity Day is a day and a half of community, advocacy, and impact. On the first day, participants attend sessions, led by community advocates and experts, on specific bills and budget asks in Springfield that are critical for Latino families. On the second day, participants will hear from members of the IL Legislative Latino Caucus, join workshops to prepare our communities for federal threats, and visit with legislators to lobby for the bills that matter to them.

If you are member of an advocacy organization, an association, a community-based organization, a state employee, a community leader, or a student that cares about Latino equity and civic engagement, Latino Unity Day is for you!

Latino Unity Day is growing and so is the cost of hosting the event. This year, Early Bird tickets are $100 and regular tickets are $125. This includes one breakfast, two lunches, a reception, a swag bag, and a day and a half of meaningful programming. 

Yes! A limited number of free registrations are reserved for clients of community service providers and students. College and university students can apply for a waiver by using THIS FORM. Additionally, we have created a resource for students on how to ask their colleges or universities for funding to cover their expenses for Latino Unity Day. Check that out HERE.

Yes, however, please note that Springfield is very busy at this time of year with many advocacy days happening at the same time and it is very important to book your accommodations right away. 

The event will take place at the Crowne Plaza Springfield, however the venue does not have rooms available. We have been able to block rooms at neighboring hotels, however. Please make your reservations as soon as possible Visit the Accommodations page for more information.
